Medieval Times Donates Masks to SRPMIC

On October 20, Queen Isabella and De Roche the Red Knight from Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament delivered face masks to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Eight hundred masks were delivered to SRPMIC Tribal Services; of these, 700 went to the Salt River Clinic and 100 arrived for use by the staff of the Public Works Department.

Glamorous masks made by volunteers across the Valley from materials at the Medieval Times costume shop in Dallas.

This donation was a part of Medieval Times’ Chivalry in Action program, which gives back to nearby communities. The corporate team started the project in May by cutting materials at their costume shop in Dallas. This was followed by a “call to arms” for volunteers from the Valley. A total of 130 volunteers signed up and made the masks at home from the end of August to October.
